Procedure for Extending Your Mobility Period at UniMC

If you are an international exchange student at the University of Macerata and wish to extend your stay, please follow these steps:

Check with Your Home University

1. Start by verifying the deadline for submitting extension requests with your Home University Coordinator;

2. Collect all the necessary documentation required for the extension from your Home University Coordinator.

It is recommended that you send your request after your first month of mobility and no later than the previously agreed end date of your student mobility.

Submit Your Request

Once you have gathered the required documents, please forward them for approval to anna.desantis@unimc.it.

Update Your Learning Agreement

1. To finalize your extension, you will need to prepare a new Learning Agreement or fill in the "Changes in the Learning Agreement" section with the courses you wish to attend during the second semester. This document must be signed by you, your Home University and your Erasmus Coordinator in Macerata.

   Note: Make sure to check the list of available courses to ensure your Learning Agreement is up to date.

2. Please submit a copy of the updated Learning Agreement or the changes section to the International Mobility Office (anna.desantis@unimc.it) by February 15.

Residence Permit Renewal

Non-EU citizens are reminded to promptly renew or extend their residence permits.

Accommodation Arrangements

If you are currently residing in a university residence, please check with the FaroHousing Residence office regarding the possibility of staying in the same room for the extended period. If no rooms are available, you can explore private accommodation options in Macerata.
