Before your arrival

If you have recently been chosen by your university to study in Macerata as a Bilateral Agreement Exchange Student, please follow the steps outlined below to register at our University.

 

STEP 1: Nomination

In order to study at the University of Macerata as an Incoming Bilateral Agreement student, your home university's coordinator must nominate you by emailing arint.umi@unimc.it with your full name and surname, email address, field of study, and desired semester for the mobility.

The nominated students will receive a Welcome e-mail from our Office containing important information for their upcoming stay at the University of Macerata. Once they have received this e-mail, students can then complete STEP 2 of the application process.

PLEASE NOTE:
Students nominated for the Second (Spring) semester will be contacted in September, after the summer break

STEP 2: Admission (Application form)

From 30 April to 20 May, fill out the application form.

Make sure to provide all required documents, including a passport photo, ID/passport, and proof of health insurance.

Confirmation emails must be duly signed and stamped by you and your Home University Coordinator. Signed application forms should be submitted in .pdf format to arint.umi@unimc.it.

Deadlines

  • 20 May: Applications for the first (fall) semester or full academic year
  • 30 October: Applications for the second (spring) semester

  • 25 May: Confirmation emails for the first (fall) semester or full academic year 
  • 5 November: Confirmation emails for second (spring) semester
