L'ECHE - ERASMUS CHARTER FOR HIGHER EDUCATION (CARTA UNIVERSITARIA ERASMUS) è un certificato, rilasciato dalla Commissione Europea, che contiene i principi fondamentali delle attività Erasmus che devono essere rispettati dall'Università.

L'Università di Macerata ha ottenuto la Carta per il settennio 2021-2027 presentando la propria candidatura alla Commissione Europea nel 2020. La Carta dell'Università di Macerata ha il numero 101013137.

La Carta concede all'Università il diritto di partecipare al programma Erasmus+ fino al 2027, nonché di presentare una domanda di finanziamento all'Agenzia Nazionale per le attività decentrate (Mobilità per Studio, per Traineeship e per svolgere attività di Docenza) ed alla Commissione Europea per le attività centralizzate. La Carta può essere ritirata in caso di non conformità o violazione delle condizioni stabilite.

The ECHE - ERASMUS CHARTER FOR HIGHER EDUCATION (ERASMUS UNIVERSITY CHARTER) is a certificate, issued by the European Commission, which contains the basic principles of Erasmus activities to be respected by the University.

The University of Macerata obtained the Charter for the seven-year period 2021-2027 by submitting its application to the European Commission. The Charter of the University of Macerata has the number 101013137.

The Charter grants the University the right to participate in the Erasmus+ programme until 2027, as well as to submit a funding application to the National Agency for decentralised activities (Mobility for Study, Traineeship and Teaching) and to the European Commission for centralised activities. The Charter may be withdrawn in the event of non-compliance or breach of the established conditions.

The application form for the ECHE also contained the description of the internationalisation strategy (EPS - Erasmus Policy Statement), which is described below.

L’EPS - ERASMUS POLICY STATEMENT (DICHIARAZIONE STRATEGIA ERASMUS)

L’EPS - ERASMUS POLICY STATEMENT (DICHIARAZIONE DI STRATEGIA ERASMUS) è una dichiarazione nella quale l'Università di Macerata descrive la propria strategia di internazionalizzazione esponendo il modo in cui vengono scelti i partner internazionali, le aree geografiche privilegiate, gli obiettivi ed i destinatari delle attività di mobilità. Vengono inoltre esplicitate le strategie per l'organizzazione e l'implementazione dei progetti di cooperazione internazionale, nonché l'impatto atteso dalla partecipazione dell'Ateno di Macerata al Programma Erasmus+ con riferimento alla propria modernizzazione.

Nello specifico, la dichiarazione riguarda, ad esempio, il ruolo della internazionalizzazione Europea nell’ambito del piano strategico di sviluppo dell’Ateneo, i futuri piani di sviluppo nell'ambito della mobilità, lo sviluppo del curriculum, le reti etc.; e poi ancora il controllo della qualità e la valutazione della partecipazione, il livello di internazionalizzazione dello staff amministrativo, dei docenti e degli studenti; le misure per assicurare il pieno riconoscimento del periodo di studi all’estero; le misure per l’incoraggiamento dello staff accademico a lanciare progetti transnazionali; l'estensione dell’uso di lingue straniere nella didattica e nella ricerca; le strategie per combattere disuguaglianze di sesso, di razza e sociali; le strategie per l’implementazione del processo di Bologna; l’implementazione della EPS all’interno dell’istituzione.

The EPS - ERASMUS POLICY STATEMENT is a statement in which the University of Macerata describes its internationalisation strategy, outlining the way in which international partners are chosen, the privileged geographical areas, the objectives and recipients of mobility activities. It also explains the strategies for the organisation and implementation of international cooperation projects, as well as the expected impact of the University of Macerata's participation in the Erasmus+ Programme with reference to its modernisation.

Specifically, the statement covers, for example, the role of European internationalisation within the university's strategic development plan, future development plans in the area of mobility, curriculum development, networks, etc; then there is quality control and participation assessment; the level of internationalisation of administrative staff, lecturers and students; measures to ensure full recognition of the study period abroad; measures to encourage academic staff to launch transnational projects; the extension of the use of foreign languages in teaching and research; strategies to combat gender, race and social inequalities; strategies to implement the Bologna process; and the implementation of EPS within the institution.
